well it holds a CB Radio... I Just installed my Cobra 18 WX ST II up there and seems ok .. will have to see how it holds up after some bumpin and bangin ....

best part was i was able to run all the wires and coax inside the console so no wire hanging down or exposed ...

Hey how do you like it after having it up for awhile? I'm thinking of doing the same thing with the radio just my fire mobile not a cb. Would you recommend this to people

Still Pretty Pleased with it .. had to do a slight Mod to re-enforce it so it didn't sag in the middle from bouncing from the weight of the CB .. i added a Piece of 1" Steel Flat Bar that runs from end to end the length of it and riveted it on .. No More bounce, No sag and way stronger

Nope ... The opening in the front are covered by netting to catch any crap trying to eject
