Thanks guys. Loving the Jeep. I was afraid the AEV suspension system might be over-rated, but I'm very impressed with it so far. Coupled with the Bilstein shocks, it performs well.
The stock wheels need to be 8-8.5" wide vs 7.5". Engineers designed a lot of the new jk/jku with 35's in mind. A bit wider wheel would have allowed up 35" tires without issue. I've got a slight vibe that feels like tires. I'm playing with tire pressure to see if it corrects it.
I'm torn between full body bumper protection (AEV, Smittybilt, ARB) and limited or no body bumper protection (Poison Soyder, etc). My 04 started out with Warn and thru the years I cut off the from ends of the bumper to give better approach angles, etc. I don't plan to wheel this that way as I mostly wheel my buggy. But, as we all know..."shoulda, woulda, coulda" gets expensive down the road.
