I'd like to see some pics of the new Kargo Master roll bar rack. I like the idea of being able to throw the canoe up there when I need to without installing a complete roof rack system. Also, does anyone know if you can just get the bars that attach to the roll bar without getting the actual rack? I tried looking around but I can't find anything on Quadratec, 4WheelParts, etc...

I strongly believe that the Gobi Rack System is one the best out there. No drilling is required! I'm not into the baskets type racks that sit high above. The lower profile is what I like. You can easily mount a kayak or two on top.
When I'm on a photo assignment photographing wildlife, I use my rooftop tent which is mounted tight to the rack with very little lateral movement. The ladder in the back offers a quick climb to the top. Plus I can raise and lower my soft top with the rack on top. The Gobi Rack will tilt back allowing the soft top to clear. The downside is the cost, but in my book it is worth it in the long run.

Bump, looking to do roof rack as well in the next few weeks, would love to see some pics! leaning towards the Garvin Wilderness. Gobi is def the nicest, but soooo much more than everyone else??? It is the design that makes it the best. Metal tubes are metal tubes and they charge 70% more than anyone else??
