Default ROCK HARD Slider PICS

These things are incredibly substantial.

Body mounted, frame bushings.

High Lift ports.

The wife is happy with "The Leg Up" she gets from the step.

This is a "Win WIn" deal for me.

I think I will be loving these Rock HardS!

I hate to ask, but do you have a pic of underneath.....like the mounting areas. Just 2 or 3 would do, not a whole pictorial.

Spot welds at the bolt holes? I dont get it. Why not a solid weld? Can water get through?

Is it a shadow or is there a gap between the body and slider?

Re: Spot Welds,... Yes I think water can get through. I will maybe caulk this tomorrow. Or I might call the RH guys and ask them about this on Monday.

The bolts attached to the tub are secured using molly type bolts,... They seem very appropriate and secure.

I think the spot welds are there to allow water that drips down the side of the Jeep to drain onto the step. The rail is not welded to the edge of the step. There is a little bit of the step to the inside of the rail.

I will get some more pics tomorrow. But I will tell you,... These are very well built rails/sliders. I saw these on my Jeep next to a Jeep with another slider (I don't want to disparage the other sponsor,... but,... ) and there was no way to compare the two for rock crawling performance while in the shop. The Rock Hards, in my mind, will offer more protection, as well as better cosmetic results, than a "tube" type slider being offered. You don't see the pinch seam like with the other slider. It just looks great. And I think it will perform great as well.

I CANNOT say that the other one is inferior. Those who have them like them.

But I can say that I won't second guess my choice with the Rock Hards. Mongo like!

More Pics tomorrow.
