Default River Raider Hi Mount Installed

I finally installed the river raider hi lift mount that I bought at last years PA Jeep Show. It was fairly simple. They give you everything you need and even include the tap bit needed to make threads in the roll bar. Check out the pics. Also, I knew I needed a cargo net to hold down some stuff in the rear but I could not figure out how to do it. I realized that a motorcycle cargo net would work perfect. Check out these pics too.

I bought the same one...it's a great mount and I love the fact that it keeps the jack out of the elements.

Nice! I need to figure out what I'm going to do for a hi-lift mount.

I like the idea of getting it inside the vehicle, but agree it kinda sucks being right in the middle of the cargo area. You said that you had to drill into the roll bar to mount it, couldn't you position it up twards the top of the roll bar then where it is more out of the way. Might be a little harder to get in and out, but it would be out of the way for other gargo use.

Default Update to my post

I just put the top down for the first time after installing my Hi Lift and discovered that it does not tuck as easy as it used to without the mount there. So be warned that if you choose to mount it high on the roll bar I'm sure that it will serve the purpose that you want and look good. But, It may be even harder to put the top town. Never the less it still looks awesome.

if you like having the hi-lift inside the jeep, I think this is the best option.
