the supercharger put down better hp but not torque when compared to the hemi. personally i would like to have a slightly higher torque number when the hp numbers were so close between the 2. now when you are talking bout a better bang for the buck then yes the supercharger wins hands down. average cost for the supercharger is bout 6k and the hemi is bout 18k. obvisouly if you are a diy'er then you can probably save alot off of a hemi swap.

RIPP did a nice job on their unit and hemi is nice too, but this is not a sports car and therefor you will want the power curve to be different. You would want more power sooner in the curve and the low RPM torque numbers I think would be the key for me to make a decision.

One thing I didn't like was that the drive train was no where close to being the same. Not a good comparison at all and I don't see how they could air that thinking they were putting them up against each other.
