haha .. funny you should ask. Its at the dealership right now getting a new starter! It decided to quit disengaging and sounded like my engine was gonna blow every time I started it.

Just that, I have only had it for 5 months ... its had a leaky roof. From the first day we had it on .... got fixed by warranty.

My brake lines fried when we installed the winch last weekend, and now least to say, the winch is on my bumper, but doesn't work. We have to figure out how to keep it from ground out to anything different this time we hook it up.

and my starter. I have taken it out 5 times in 5 months. Makes me so mad.

Oh well ... thats what it means. I wish my jeep actually ran and I was able to go wheeling. But none to say, I feel sorry for the few people who have had broken axles. (Knocking on wood) .... glad to hear that 75% of the time for them it was covered by warranty!

not to try starting anything. There is a thred for the green JK's .... I thought this one was for Rescue Green? Am I confused?

duh............good job, i didn't notice. i did the same but no cutting or welding. i'm working on building skids for the jamboree in case my willys isn't done. i'll need some belly protection that is better than stock. i was thinking of building a bumper short and simple steel like my old yj's.

i just put a new roll of .035 wire in my mig. i'll scratch some time together and do the same. glad i took the time to check out your post.

just wanted to say .. I have my JK back again. I missed it so much. I can drive it now. I had it for one day in teh last two weeks. Hopefully it decidees to keep running well!

Or I will keep the dealership busy with the warranty coverage .... for parts .. haha! I missed my jeep.
