That's who I meant. Don't know what I was thinking? I was looking at the standard black. How many holes did you end up having to drill? Do you have to drill any for the center piece?

Center piece mounts didn't need any holes drilled. Mounts with bolts. I drilled 8 holes. I probably could have done 6.

Looks really good man. What about that center vent piece? Do you remove it as it looks like you did or just put the overlay over top of it? I am guessing it gets removed?

I cut a square out of mine and refitted the vent. It it is daunting drilling that many holes in your tailgate!!

I like the whole setup but I have seen where you can just buy the center piece separate. I noticed on the factory tailgate the center seems to be the weakest area of the whole thing so I am thinking just doing that. Plus I don't think my balls are big enough to start drilling into my new Jeep body panels as of yet. Never had good luck with the drill. I remember when I put my corner guards on my old TJ lets just say it's a good thing they covered the area where I drilled. The holes looked like Stevie Wonder drilled them after drinking a bottle of Jack. Do you have to use any kind of nutsert?
