See where I cut my rails back to? The angle my flare makes down to the leading edge of the rail is where I will end up cutting to when this is all said & done.....

Default Holy Crap!!

I tell ya JP there is some serious dough tied up in that rig right there....but anyway got my 35's today and am definitely gonna have to cut the seam...btw 4 Xterrain 35's for $250 80% tread left...guy went to a bigger size and said I could have them cheap...but I think I stole 'em....

I used a 4.5" cutoff wheel and grinder, easy mod.

Same theory for gapping a spark plug...

Just throw it in there and if the gap is too big the piston will set it for ya!

I used a grinder... and a chopsaw to cut the rubi rails...

I cut it back alot cuz ...I hear people cut too little then its like a razor blade cutting your tire...

I cut it then hammered it back so it would be smooth...

Just a word of advice to anyone like azrockzuk did....think ahead! You may also want to cut to the that indention in the body panel where the OEM flare stops. This way if you ever move over to flat flares, the rail will be where you need it. Check my pics belwo for what I mean. And even for me, where you see my rail begin is where I will end up removing metal to.
