Rear Bucket Seats Install

1) you have to drill a new hole in the MC bracket to accommodate the front most stock bolt on the slider (there's 3 bolts).
2) on one side of the slider bar is this extra welded plate of metal (like a bracket to attach a wire harness coupler) that interferes with mounting it flush against the outer side of the MC bracket. So the driver seat should be mounted on the pass side and vice versa to avoid this.
3) I could slide the seat all the way FORWARD to the point of touching the front seats, but didn't gain much sliding BACK. It's simply the factory positioning of how the mechanism is mounted to the seat to the mounting on the MC brackets and doesn't allow for sliding back further.
There wasn't enough of a gain sliding backwards for me, so I took off the slider mechanism and mounted the seats stationary. Maybe someone else will have better luck figuring this out and will share it with the rest of us. I still think it's a significant improvement over the bench, even without a slide feature.

On saturday I tried installing one seat with the factory slider and ran into a couple issues...

Okay sounds good, was there any worthwhile use of being able to slide the seats forward, as in maybe getting more cargo space with the seat slid forward? Thinking of installing with seat tracks to just have the extra chance of being able to carry more in the back I case no one is sitting in the back. What do you think?
You'd get at least this much more room:

You'd gain a little bit more room of cargo space I guess. The rear seat & brackets end just where the bed begins to angle down, so with the seat forward your tracks will be exposed if that's an issue with putting cargo on/near them.

Just finished mounting mine with the slider mechanism, the only benefit like I mentioned was maybe getting some of that cargo room when having to carry stuff, helps with getting some of versatility back for cargo room. And since the ones I got were from a 2 door jk, they tilt forward so they let you get to stuff in cargo area without having to open the tailgate. That's one good little extra benefit that worked out for me, I can imagine using that feature when I get trek seat covers front and back and having the molle packs on the seat back. I'll post pics tomorrow, since its late the pics didn't come out, oh all I have to do is mount the seat belt buckles which I'll do tomorrow after work. Now to rest my busted knuckles
Here's a pic that did come out decent for now
