Real Jeeps, Real Work
Jeeps are great fun. No doubt about it. But, what real work has your JK made easier? Post your stories and pic's here. Here's mine:
The recent ice storm in Oklahoma did a lot of damage to the 5-1/2 acres of my church. Much of that land is heavily forested. So, my son (Curtis) and I took out the JK and began the process of cleaning up the mess. We've spent close to 50 man-hours on it. The JK and a tow strap were essential to dragging out some of the larger logs, reducing the need to trim out thorny greenbriar, heavy Virginia creeper, and poison ivy. Here are a few images as we cut one bodark tree from the tangle mess:

Great pics.....have to show our logging contractors here in BC what a JK can do!!!! Who needs a 648H John Deere Grapple Skidder when you can get a JK to skid out a few logs with a choker cable to the landing site!

No pictures, but i used it to help me direct a tree drop in my front yard. I never thought to take pictures.
I did consider buying it red plaid seat covers though.
