Read if you have the Rugged Ridge XHD Tire Carrier
For those of us with the Rugged Ridge XHD tire carrier I found a really good clamp/latch to replace the total POS that came with our carrier. I know some people dont care for the XHD but I really like mine with the exception of the latch. This thing is super strong and really holds the carrier tightly against the post. I actually had my tire carrier swing out by itself on a bumpy road, thank god I had just stopped when it happened.
It does have an option of an additional safety trigger (thought I got that one but didnt). The standard does hold nicely tho.
Only color was silver but I painted mine. You will notice from the pictures that where it moves it will scrape the paint off. I just didnt want the silver sticking out like a sore thumb.
