the trick is to have something to put the bumper on a rolling chair or stool after you take it off and put it on

Love the looks of this bumper but high unsatisfied with the powder coat finish. The bumper started showing signs of rust after the first year. Powder coating is typically a lot stronger than your regular paint job. My jeep is now going on 5 yrs old and the bumper is about 2-1/2 years. It was obvious to me that the prep was not taken serious. I contacted the company a little after a year and because the year period had passed they would not do anything but sell me a new one for a reduced price. Not to mention it took a few months to even get that response from them. I am not saying this is a bad bumper just saying plan on getting it re-finished if you buy it. And just a little fyi, I hardly do any offroading with Jeep. So it has not contacted any rocks or out of the normal conditions.
Love the modified rampage bumper but it was obviously re-finished.
P.S. Sorry for the under-par cell phone pics.

I bought the rampage recovery rear bumper. I love it but because of the weight I had to weld it to the frame to stop the most annoying squeaking sound I've ever heard from my jeep. Granted I drive on Chicago streets that aren't in the best shape. Also my bumper started rusting within the first 6 months. After scraping what paint chips I had. I came to the conclusion that my bumper had only a coat of finish paint no primer!
