Default Racer83L's JK build page..

My JK has been through a lot of different setups... I wanted to share it with everyone on one thread.. some set ups I liked, some I didnt.. anyways, here goes.

10/07 brought home the JK..

Went to the beach the same day.

couple days later, weather was warm, pulled the top and doors..
then flexed it (sway connected)

couple months later, traded up to Rubi wheels/Tires... Day I installed them

first "mod" added a RR XHD modular front bumper and Tera disco's

3/08 FIRST TIME EVER to Rausch (added the ends to the bumper)

some flexing..

5/08 involved in a hit and run.

What is a Jeeper to do... MOD TIME.
added some Xenon WIDE flares

OK, now I need some bigger tires for these flares.... I still do not have any lift.
33" x 12.5 x 15 BFG A/T's on Cragar Soft 8's

ok, now its time for some sliders... bought the Olympic sliders.. They didnt work out for me.

these brackets actually hit the door when I closed it.. they were returned.

Next set of sliders, Mopar Enhanced Rails.. MUCH better, good fit and finish, easy install. Props to MOPAR.

some more flexing.. still not lifted..

okay, so I swap the RR bumper for Tera's, and a Smittybuilt XRC winch..

few weeks later, smitty winch gone, and I buy a Warn 9.5Ti, BEAUTIFUL winch.

ok, bit the bullet, 2.5" Tera BB... at Rausch.

ok, now back to stock to spray the front bumper..

Now I swap out the wide Xenons for Narrows.. I like the look a bit more..

Ok, now its time for a snorkel....

And a rear LoD shorty Gen2 bumper with carrier..

back to Raush.

I need more lift/bigger tires.

now that Im lifted, running a snorkel and have a rear carrier, I need larger tires.. some 35's

now I sink the Jeep, flood my trans. with water and tear the boot on the DS.

in comes the Tom Woods 1310 shaft.

bedlined the hinges, relocated the plate, added a back up camera, and Teraflex S.T sway.

Next trip to Rausch, I rub a tree...

add some corner guards..

Gusset front axle..

and switch to OEM non painted flares.

add some Currie control arms.

And an AEV 3.5" Nth degree Premium lift..

oh and sold the bumper/winch.. back to stock front bumper.

lift done.

and the set up as of 1/18/2010.

I will update this thread as things change.

Thanks for looking.... And yes, I have plans for another bumper, and perhaps an Atlas T. Case

Awesome rig man im diggin it. But afew questions, why switch for narrow flats back to stock flares? and what was the reason for selling the tera bumper and winch?

o and to the dude above^^^^ The TF BB is amazing for the amount of money spent. No need to worry about adding any extra parts (curious if the shredded boot was lift associated) I went ahead and bought so pro comp shocks to go with mine though, wasnt too crazy about the idea of using the base package X shocks on a lift.
