i definitely think the original was better. perhaps i missed this, but what's with the hole in the plate? is it a random dimple die hole or is it for some kind of light or what? i'm lost...

i asked the same thing, It was a last minute push for sema, it wasnt made for a light. Not sure if that'll make production or not.
They are the same as the originals, I'm not sure why everyone thinks they are that much different.

aside from the tube/plate swap i agree. people act like they redesigned the entire thing but there's really not that much difference. i just liked the look of the tube better.

i love what i'm visioning of the tube version.(but my vission may not be at all what it actually is) The other just seems like a big flat plate formed to the body line (i'm certain it is more than that... )
