My plan is to do. Lift & wheels also. I chose the bumper & winch first, because I can still go off-road without a lift, but do not wish to without a winch.

Makes total sense and it changes the whole look of the jeep too. I like that and now I may have to rethink things over and budget accordingly. Thanks a ton (sarcasm) now I have been looking at bumpers and winches all night.

Tow Rope, then lift. This way you can measure true lift without the added weight yet.

Hood mounted hi-lift. Figure I have a Rubicon with rock rails, lockers and M/Ts, might as well have a way to unstuck myself. Completely forgetting I had a winch NIB, waiting to go on my XJ.

That is what I did and I can tell you it was brutal waiting it out. For me it took over 7 years to put 53k on the original Bridgestones. By the way, first mod was Spiderwebshade and Harken Hoist.

why did you have to make it so real? I don't think I can wait 7 months.

I am going to be wise and ask questions, read posts, and follow build outs here to see what options I am going to go with as far as next mods and so forth.

This was a nice thread for me to see what people started off with so I can get ideas and add to my own build.
