I did two things at the same time. Friday morning I was driving a Tacoma that we had bought the previous day. We had not finalized the contract, and found that after reviewing the contract the dealer had put in a few additional items that we did not approve of. So, we left the dealership, and the truck, and let them figure it all out. That was not our intent when we went back to the dealership. Our intent was to remove the pack surcharges and live happily ever after.
After that happened, we went to a Ford dealer, while I tried to convince my wife that my second car needed to be a mustang GT. She wasn't biting. Her thought was that since my first car was a Roush Raptor, that my DD didn't need to be fast, too.
Left that dealership a bit sad, but kind of had to agree with her. On the way home, we were going down the freeway at 8:00 pm. I decided to pull off and go down a another dealership row on the way home. The first dealer we saw was a Jeep dealer that had a Moab edition on the street. It was love. However, I didn't buy that jeep. They had a fresh 2011 with 10,000 miles for $21,500. It had never touched dirt. So, I bought it that night. Drove it home, and Saturday morning I was at my friendly neighborhood shop arranging for a 3.5 teraflex short arm lift and xd125 wheels and 35" Toyo r/t's. It was done Monday morning.
So now, I have two extremely capable 4x4's that each excel in a different way. The funny thing is, they both get about the same mileage. Curious how that works.

You didn't waste any time. Lol.

I only have 4k miles on my jeep now but I want to change out the rims and tire so bad but I told myself I will only do it when I wear out the factory set first. (I want to get the most of the tires now since I'm too lazy to sell them)

This may sound silly but I was really thinking about pulling out the back bench and replacing it with just one captain's chair. No one ever sits behind me and space is a precious commodity. A cooler fridge could fit there perfectly. 😀

I'm still in the air of doing the bumpers next or buying the lift kit. Mind you if I buy the lift kit then I have to wait a bit to get the wheels and tires.
