That's an interesting placement for your running lights. Haven't thought of that.

Already there are so many ways to chop and mod JK fenders. Keep 'em coming!

Westchester, what's that on your hood? Looks like a scoop with LED's in it?

I was the same way until I put a dent and scratches into it. Then it was easy! If you do chop, the cleanest way to cut them is with an electric jigsaw. Takes too long with a dremel and you can't control a sawzall by yourself.

I was wondering how that would look. Might try it before going all out on them. Look good, a lot better than stock.

Great post item. I'm rocking a 2010 JK 4dr and my 2 1/2" Teraflex lift is on it's way (I'm worse than a kid as Christmas approaches!). I'm eyeballing some 35" meats to put on it which the stats say will fit under there. I wasn't sure if I believed this, though! Any thoughts on whether or not it will work without breaking out the jig saw and forcing a fender mod??

Exactly right, I finished it earlier this year.

I wanted an outrageously bright Rigid Industries Lightbar but they're easy to steal when mounted in the brackets they provide, so fixed it permanently inside a fibreglass hood scoop and aluminum bracing underneath the hood to support the lightbar's weight. I have a few pics and details in this older thread https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...ght=hood+scoop
