I would suggest beating the seams in with a hammer! You get alot cleaner look and your seam wont split. I did both I cut them first and didn't get the clearance I wanted so then took a hammer to them and it looked alot cleaner and more clearance.

Not trimmed, just beat and rubberized![

The undercoating was still wet, but after it dried it looked factory!!
Now I just have to wait for uncle Sam to send my $$ back so i can get my 35`s!!!
