Got one of these here BubbaRope Renegades for ma Jeep. I mounted it on the bumper like the war Jeeps of old!









I don't plan on storing it here full time, but I reached out to BubbaRope to ask their opinion on how badly the elements will affect the integrity of the rope over time. It's dipped in rubber, which I'm worried will be dried and damaged by constant sun exposure, rendering it useless in my hour of need.
In the meantime I'm gonna leave it where it is though, because I think it looks subtle, but awesome!

Rich mans tow strap! My straps are from harbor frieght! $30 or I'll use chain

I had one from Home Depot, but the hooks didn't fit my d-rings. I only found that out after I got stuck once. :(
Everyone tells me to avoid chains.

Big difference between tow straps and snatch staps such as the bubba rope

Yeah, the snatch strap was actually what I really needed at the time.

I agree!
I reached out to Bubba Rope, and they told me that the rope should hold up just fine, but to expect a bit of color fading in the California sun over time. Sounds about right.
So I'm going to leave it where it is for now and keep an eye on the color.
