Yah, I guess it is not too bad. THe white on the fender was actually paint from the concrete pillar of the light pole. It came right off, just have a few spots where the green paint is gone. It is just black underneath, so it is not too noticable.

Would like to either replace the side step or upgrade.

The Side step does not look bad......just spray with some armour guard to touch up and make like new. Take the fender off, buff & sand out any scratches add some primer and spray jeep green and it's a mall crawler again. That is very minor damage...but still sucks.

Definitely better than body damage....

The side step looks a little worse from a different view. The end of it is all cracked up. Made a nice loud sound when it gave!

Would usually just take the opportunity to upgrade the side steps, but we are closing on a house this week & $$$ is tight.

Yes very lucky no body damage....any damage does suck....but accidents are call accidents.

I know all about a tight budget and $$$ is tight!!! I would try touching up the step that is exposed the road view and just leave the cracks for now and maybe the armour guard spray from the rattle can maybe able to seal the cracks and hold together till the funds become available for new rock rails.
