I am running a RK track bar in front with lots of room and I have the TF drop bracket in rear and when the right rear tire is at full stuff the bar just kisses the raised embossment for the fill plug....not even enough to worry about!

I'm reviving an old thread... I went to the Jeep Stealership today to get paint for my bomb proof diff covers. They didn't have any in stock, so I ordered my Deep Cherry Red Crystal Metallic spray paint from Quadratec instead. Hopefully I can paint and install next weekend.

Okay, 3 coats of Deep Cherry Red on the diffs. They've been drying all day (8 hours). Began putting tape over the spider and cut out and removed some of the tape and it's pulling the base coat off. Do I need to wait several days before taping the spider? Any thoughts??

I painted mine and then hand painted the spider black. Then clear coated over it all. Didn't wait long enough and put clear on too thick and it crackled. Still looks good unless you get right up on it, and it's covered with mud half of the time anyway, lol.

Ok, it's been one week and since I painted the diff covers with the Mopar rattle can. The Diffs have been in my spare bedroom beside the heater vent. I still pull paint off when I put tape on it and lift it up... Any suggestions? Do I need to strip them and etching prime them?? I hope someone has an "easy" solution??
Thanks!
