Default PlastiDip

I love this stuff. Will be doing my Jeep in white next spring.

Some stuff I've done

Angry eyes w/ P'Dip Smoke

Grill, hood w/ black and underneath w/ Blaze Blue

My gf's Nitro grill, R/T stripes, wheels and emblems black. Dash pieces in Blaze Pink.

Also did my Mom's Tracker ZR2 trim, grill and wheels.

Before & After

The only thing i dont like about plastic dip on the outside of the vehicle is that it comes off easy. One rock or pebble or even a stick will tear the dip

From what I've read that would be the drawback for me too - one trip to a trail and it'd be a mess...

I love the flat/matte finish look though -

DipYourCar's YouTube channel shows how to patch up holes. I'm not going to search for the video, but it's out there.

Btw, I like it. I've been a flat finish fan ever since I saw a charcoal primer 80s C-10 when I was a kid.

Great job and it looks good to me. I wonder how this stuff holds up on the interior. Might just experiment myself.

Thanks! I'm not sure how it would hold up in the high traffic areas. I think it would just peel up. You would probably be better off bedlining it. Just my opinion. Maybe others can post what they think.

One thing I can tell you guys is that in order to get a little piece of it up to tear it off...takes a lot of work. If you get a good 5-6 coats on whatever it'll take more than you think to get a tear in it. it also protects your paint. So if you get a limb or something up against it, it might tear the dip but your paint will be fine. It's also a quick fix if something happens. Everyone looks at the negative part of it when the pros out-weigh the cons most of the time.

Everyone acts like it costs a fortune for this stuff.
