Default Plasti-dip Iowa Hawkeye logo

I've been wanting to try the plasti-dip spray that many Jeepers have been doing, so I bought a stencil from a local Hawkeye shop for $11 an gave it a shot. I also bought a large version (18" wide) of the hawk, but I'm not sure how to get it to lay nice on the jeep since it has areas that can't be taped without interfering with the spray. I'm looking for ideas!

Spray the backside of the inner pieces with hair spary and it will act like glue and hold it in place. Afterwards it will just peel off (you might have to trace around it with an Exacto knife so you don't peel away the Plasti-Dip) and the hair spray residue will wash of with just water.

Yeah, It's suited more for the Iowa State Cyclones, isn't it? But I just couldn't put a Cyclone on MY Jeep.

I live in Coralville, if I did that someone might scratch up the jeep. Nice try!

I live about 10 miles north of you so I know the feeling of being in "enemy territory". As long as we are not playing each other I am a UofI fan!
