Looking good and its an easy fix if you screw it up! I did my grill about two weeks ago and did about 3 coats (I bought two cans...used 1 whole can and about a 1/4 of the second).
I painted my wheels awhile ago before I had even heard about plastidip. (I left the tire on the rim by the way. You can just tape it off and I've heard of others using notecards also.)
This plastidip stuff is amazing!! I bought more yesterday to do my doors hinges whenever I get a chance.
Once again...looks good and this stuff holds up pretty well too, especially if you do a few coats!!

Thanks guys! I prepped using denatured alcohol to wipe off any grease and dirt first. Then just sprayed it on.
I left the wheels on the rim & on the jeep too. I used playing cards wedged between the rim and the tire to avoid overspray. I also stuffed paper towels behind the wheels to keep the brakes from getting sprayed and used painters tape to mask off the air nozzle.
Afterwards, I took an xacto-knife and cut around the lug nuts so that removing them wouldn't peel off the whole thing at my next tire rotation.
That's a GOBI Ranger rack.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before or not, but you don't really need to guard your tires from the plastidip. it peels off VERY easily. especially from rubber surfaces. I helped my friend dip his Lexus IS 300 wheels, and when we finished we just grabbed some plastidip that was on the tire, and peeled 100% of the overspray off in 1 - 2 peels took about 30 seconds. very easy.

Btw, I forgot to mention it only took me 2 coats to cover each wheel. This stuff is pretty thick and is very forgiving in getting an even spray. This morning I noticed I missed a couple spots on the underside of a few spokes, so I'll touch it up tonight.
