Thinking of putting on 2" receiver on my trailer and fabricating a ball hitch and a pintle ring to interchange when needed. The ball for to and from the trail and the ring for when I'm on the trail.

I didn't think it was that bad when I towed my M101 home from where I bought it and that was a 2.5 hour ride home. Stopping and starting yes, after that notes much.

I am going to use the regular 2" ball on my custom trailer for now. I have room later to cut and add the receiver for the pintle or another set-up.
