Hmmm those Duratrac's are giving me second thoughts over the MT KM2's I have on backorder. Gives you that mean tire look without going to MT if you dont need it.

Guys, for the money, I am very happy w/ my 2.5" RC bb.
I did however get a TF rear track bar bracket from a forum
member for $25 (shipped) and I am gonna do the same for
the front...

LIFT 'EM... You love it!

Just barely noticible if the radio is off and windows closed. If there is any type of wind noise, including the heater fan, you can't here a thing!

For those who have the duratrac tires. Most of the duratrac's are 10 ply or 8 ply....how's the ride quality...are they really stiff, bouncing down the road, or do you air them down a bit for a better ride quality..

I just found a tire size/speed calculator and compared my stock sized 255/70-18 (32.1") to 275/70-18 (33.2"). Upsizing from the 32s to the 33s will result in the speedo reading 3.4% slow. If the speedo reads 60mph, actual speed is 62.1mph. Not too bad.

I'm currently running mine at 29psi. I think they ride just a little rougher than my Duelers. Its close enough to me that its hard to tell.

I went to a goodyear tire center yesterday looking for these tires in a 285/70/17. First he told me I can order them but it might be 3 months before I can get them. For a 285/70/17 he quoted me $265 per tire. I think that is a little steep. They also dont have the kevlar reinforcing I was told.

Was that quote installed? I see tire rack says $210 a copy. Add tax, disposal fees, etc. I see some places also want to charge about $11 a tire for a TPMS kit. If your tires are still good keep them and have them take off the disposal fees. I don't see the need for the TPMS kits either if your vehicle is still under warranty.

With the auto industry so slow right now it wouldn't surprise me that the tire manufacturers would be working less also causing tire model shortages.
