I just bought a 09 Sahara and new to JEEPs. I would like to keep my factory wheels, which are 18", and would like to get the durtecs in LT275/70R18E1 125Q B. Do I need to get spacers for this setup? Everything is stock including the height of the JEEP and would like to keep it that way if possible. I will be using this mostly for driving to work and back and trails every other weekend and hunting in the fall. Thank you for any info you can give me. I'm a noob please don't be to harsh on me.

And what's the deal with spacers...? I read a lot of reviews and people say they are high maintenance... How so?

Are you experiencing any rubbing?

Would appreciate your help!!!
Thanks

Nice!!! I believe you will need some spacers to avoid rubbing. That tire is a bunch wider than the stock one. I needs to be pushed out.

I have run the SpiderTrax spacers and had ZERO problems. I think the whole spacer worry is over the old school spacers that were not hub centric - some people never get that out of the their heads. Now I run wheels with an offset so I do not need them. NOTE! You can get some pretty nice wheels for just over $100/each. Not much more than a set of spacers.

Oooo I LOVE fast replies!!! lol
Well should I go with 1.5 spacer?

I know I want 20x10 KMC Monsters but for $2800 I'm gonna wait till next summer... I want to use the factory rims for winter and the OEM tires are just about worn out... So I don't want to spend $2800 now, then spend $1500 for another set for winter soooo soon!!! But next summer im getting the 305 / 55 / 20

I like the look of these tires do much I'm gonna have them on both sets!!!

I hope I didn't out my self as Mall Crawler!!!! But it's true :o|

Yep, 1.5" would be great. Check out the factory seconds at Spider Trax....Good deals and you'll have a hard time telling.
