Had BFG AT's on two different Tacoma's. They were good, but now I see, not great.

The Duratracs ride better and having just done a 3 hour drive @ ~75+ Mph in pouring rain, they are MUCH better in the rain.

I have owned a set of BFG AT on my old cherokee and my dad runs them on his rubicon. They are a great street tire, but when it comes to mud or snow... the duratracs blow them away. And the duratracs seem to ride smoother and quieter as well.

Both are great tires nonetheless, but if I had a choice between the two, I would go with Duratracs again without hesitating!

Duratrac's rock I have the LT315/70R17...which are essentially 35's and havent looked back. Plenty of siping in the mud with great traction. Majority of my time is town and highway and people are amazed how quiet and ride friendly they are considering they look aggressive. Hint-Hint: Sam's Club has them and maybe not in stock at your store does ship them at no extra cost!! I picked 'em up for around $250.00 a piece and mounted up!

Just a word of advice to those thinking about buying these tires...

These tires are the best wet traction and snow tire I've ever used. They also have superior traction on rocks and trail applications. The one area where these tires lack is in thick mud. The tread is not far enough apart for proper cleanout (although with the sipes and busy tread pattern, they will still get you through). I have these on my Rubicon and even with all four wheels locked in, in a somewhat mild mud situation, felt i had to rely on speed to get through some areas because the tires were not "biting" the way they should (and I was not hung up on anything, just wouldn't go). Aside from the mud performance (7 out of 10) I would give these tires a 9 out of 10 overall just due to their superior performance on rocks/trail, wet and snow.

Here are mine now 275/70/18 with a teraflex 2.5 BB and 1.5 spidertrax spacers. You can see the stance difference with the BB next to a stock rubicon. I love these tires. Had a chance to try them out in some wet stuff and they work great!

Who has the most miles on these??? What is the tread wear like??? When the tread is half worn, are the sipes still present or do they turn into an MT???
