Pictures of 2.5" lift with 35s please!!!
I'm having a hard time figuring out if I want 33s or 35s for a 2.5" lift. I really want 35s but haven't seen too many pictures. Any input on why or why not I should go with 35's would be great too!

thanks planman- I didn't know I could do that! and looks good jhaynes!!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure my mind is set with 35's, blk08jkca. It's my second Jeep and this is my next step up on everything-newer Jeep, suspension instead of body, new wheels, and BIGGER tires! eeek! ... I picked up my lift kit this weekend and saw 33s on a truck ---and they looked big enough, for the truck the were on--- but I have heard and read by so many people that they wish they got 35's instead and I don't want to make a $1000+ mistake! I have waited too long to finally get what I really want (for the money I allowed myself to spend). I think my family and bf think its too big for me but I'm just getting started Oh and by some researching, 35's may cause some rubbing but it's seems to be an easy fix----- I'll let ya know how things go! Wish me luck...the bf and I will be doing surgery on my Jeep this weekend so I'll post a picture soon!

I'm going to install some Rubi Unlimited springs, along with a 2.5" budget boost on my '07, 2dr soft-top X, and see if I can squeeze 35's in there myself! I want to regear the diffs eventially too, to at least 4.88's, and add lockers.

oh yes that will be happening soon too.
and don't forget a new tire carrier for 35s! I bought a temporary tire carrier that connects to the tailgate until I save up again to buy a new back bumper with a swing away tire carrier (goal is by the end of the year!)

I love my 2.5 lift w/ 33"s. But should I ever lift above 3" I'll go into 35"s for sure.

35s fit perfectly with 2.5" Teraflex lift and pinch seam mod. There is no rubbing provided you have correct wheel backspacing. WOL's Modified Tech FAQ discusses here https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...com-Start-Here!!

Here are some pictures:
I've had no regrets with this lift and tire/wheel choice. The shocks ride a bit harsher than stock Rubicon shocks, but it's not bad. I felt the Rubicon shocks did a better job of absorbing the impact from hitting a pot hole on the road better, but off-road I think they perform about as well as if not slightly better than the stock Rubicon shocks - especially on loose gravel.
I didn't cut or bend the pinch seam, since the tire will never come in contact with it. Yeah, it's close to the pinch seam (about 1/2" - 3/4"), but when the suspension moves, the tire only gets further away from the seam. In other words, the closest the tire will ever get to the seam is while sitting on level ground. I didn't think it was necessary, but you can do it if you want to.
I did however install the weld-on JKS trackbar brackets. They make a big difference and are very beefy. They're inexpensive too. I bought both front and rear and cost me a little over $200 installed.
Good luck.
