Which stubby kits are we seeing on these? I've seen a Rugged Ridge (or Rough Country??) with metal endcaps, and the one at Quadratec. I like the light weight of the plastic ones at Quadratec, but they stick out a little further than the RR metal ones. I like the looks of the RR better.

Decisions, decisions.

Here's mine. Stubbing of the bumper is yet to come. The winch plate is a Rough Country. I liked it because it used shackles instead of hooks. It was pretty easy to install. I do like the ones in this thread that are hidden inside the bumper, though. I chose this more for function, though, to get the winch up higher to be able to go through deeper water without submerging it. The winch is an Engo, which ironically, was tested by a 4 wheel magazine, after being submerged.

Sullycon,

which bar/hoop is that? It looks just a tad bigger than the Rugged Ridge light bar, or is it the RR and it's just the angle of the photo?

It is the pre-runner bar from RWC. I purchased this one hoping it would give me enough room to mount a winch when the time comes.

Old thread but, hey, at least I search, huh?

I love the rear bumper mod here! I don't think this guy got enough love for it. I've never seen another one done. Has anyone else done this with a black bumper?

Instructions?

Default Old thread revival

I'm just hoping I might get an answer here, I know it's an old thread, but at least we newbies are searching, right? I was hoping you might be able to tell me where you mounted the flat bar. I am getting ready to fabricate my rear light bar setup using 1.5 inch flat bar steel and I figured I may as well grab some 2 inch from lowes and make something for the front, too! Thanks!

The winch is just a universal mounting plate trimmed to fit and mounted upside down.
