Cheers! But what does that mean exactly - "run small"? I've heard the term used before, but what is it describing? Do you mean proportion, shape, inflation, or is it in relation to the lift?

The actual size of the KM2s once they are mounted measure out significantly smaller than most 35s on the market depending on air pressure.

A 35x12.50R17 Mud Grappler/MTR Kevlar would look wider and bigger than a 35x12.50R17 KM2. I think the KM2 would not "shrink" as much on a 2 door, since there is less weight than a 4 door.

Ah, I see. Interesting, I never knew that. It does explain the subtle proportional differences between mine and other Jeeps that I could never quite put my finger on.
It's kind of like the way the suspension changes slightly when you swap out the bumpers or take off the doors etc. It's a subtle change, but it's noticeable.

I've been considering going to 37's, but the proportional change is a bit too much for my artistic sensibilities. There's an ideal balance between the 37's, 35's and the 2.5 and 3" suspension setups that I'm trying to figure out, but I've yet to see a setup that I'm completely happy with. It doesn't help that the JK is so wide, when compared with the TJ. The TJ seems to suit a wider range of setups, due, I guess, to it's nicely balanced body design.
