Pics of the finish on wheels
Does anyone have any close up pics of the "cast blast" finish wheels from Pro Comp or close up pics of the "Teflon" coated wheels from American Racing... I am looking to purchase some wheels here soon and I would like to see close up pics of them to help me decide... Do they both have a texture type of finish? Thanks, John

I was a little disappointed when I saw the Teflon wheels in person. They are more like graphite or charcoal, and not black. Plus I keep envisioning then with all the little knife cut marks like the pans :>)

There was a big thread on another forum about them scratching easily. Turns out they don't scratch any easier than other aluminum wheels. I was under the impression that they are more of a flat black then the dark gray in the pictures. Maybe im wrong tho.

I am not convinced with Teflon either. You have to use plastic utensils with teflon pans because it is not very durable. I am thinking rock will scrape it right off. Cast blast or powdercoating may be the way to go.
