Did you need the spacers or did you just want them? I think I am going to put on Duratrecs in a couple of months.

You need spacers. The wider tire will rub the rear swaybar link.

Do you need to get a new tire carrier with the 33's and stock rims?

I had to run a tire carrier spacer for my 285/75R16's on the stock steelies. TeraFlex, MBRP, Rough Country..They all make one. Had to roll around with my factory doughnut for a few days, not cool!

It won't ruin the gate or anything with the added weight? Or cut off the brake light?
