Here is mine. I aded a 1" inch space up front to help support hte bumper and winch. I would not want it any higher. Love the ride with Teraflex 2 1/2" coil lift

2.5 TF and 35 DCs. Cutting up the fenders, adding a 1" BL and sticking 37s under there this summer

Yup, I think this 2.5" lift and 35s set up really is perfect for what I need. Not too high but enough clearance to be very capable off road and still maintain street manners for the DD. The look fits the jeep perfect. It has more of an Expedition stance/style witch is what I like. And if you need more fender clearance you can always trim to get the extra flex without worrying about ripping a fender off. Not as much driveshaft boot issues.
The main thing for me is, I really dont want more lift than what I need. Even though I wouldnt mind having 4" of lift and 37s, I honestly wouldnt be putting that much lift and tire to work like it should. I do moderate trails. nothing 2.5" and 35s cant get through without smart driving. I mean, thats more than enough, Ive done some tuff trails with 33s and a 3" lift on a Tacoma. I also think its smarter with this set up. The bigger I go, the more crazy shit I do and most likely will end up breaking stuff. And as this being my first ever brand new car and paying a lot for it. I need to take it easy for a while! Mom always called me a dare devil.. I got multiple stitches and Broken bones to prove it. Haha.
I plan on ordering this set up by tonight or tomorrow.
35" MTRs with Kev
AEV 2.5 or Teraflex 2.5. Both Coils.
Quick Discos.
And hopefully If i can get a good price on the AEV front bumper ill pull the trigger on that!
After this, Ill be broke for a while
But its all worth it!
Thanks for the pics, love the jeeps. I swear im like a girl in a panty store, Ive been changing my mind on lifts (push up bras) twice daily! lol. But I think this settled it for me as far as size. Now....... Witch lift kit? haha
