pic request - tuffy radio cover
Anyone have pics or comments about the tuffy security cover for the upper dash?
My new Rubi has the touch screen navigation radio and I am a bit nervous about having it stolen with the top and doors off.

someone makes a security cover for the factory nav system ??
im very curious about this item. ive been trying to find something to cover up and protect my touch screen nav system while the top and doors are off. does anyone have any more info about an aftermarket product that fits the dash and covers the nav screen ? any help would be greatly appreciated.

tuffy product ....
i found the Tuffy item that covers the basic factory cd player, its $100 and seems to be a quality item, like all Tuffy products are, however, i cant seem to find anyone that makes an aftermarket item that will cover and protect the JK Rubicon factory touch screen navigation system. :(
anyone have any ideas ?

I've had one for over a year and it works great. I used it when I had the factory NAV, but now use it with a Pioneer D3 unit. I have to park in the ghetto sometimes because of where I work/live and it makes me feel a lot better about having a good head unit.

I have it and it covers my aftermarket radio nicely, I think it should cover the factory stereo as well. My only complaint is that the glue they use to hold the sliders (sort of like door edge trim) melts and drips in hot weather. None of the glue has landed on the stereo, but my CB has glue residue on it, and there have been several times that my hands have gotten sticky when I open or close the stereo cover. The cover itself can get very hot when sitting out in the sun as well, so keep that in mind when opening and closing it.
