For the price of the WARN mount there are a lot of aftermarket bumpers that would hold the winch better with a lot less work.

Yeah I hear ya, the price for that mount is up there. I can get a Rough country stock mount for half the price of the Warn. I'm just trying to decide if I like the stock look better, or the hybrid stubby. And hopefully I can sell a way to sell my RR bumper and skid.

Can't stress it enough, that is one beautiful jeep. I started out wanting to "pimp" my jeep out with the coolest bumpers and new gear. But after using it as my DD and going on the trails a couple times, I'm starting to like the simplicity of the stock jeep. Nothing beats the clean, original look.

The winch is a Warn VR8000 from mounted upside down on an TJ winch plate, and that's a Daystar winch isolator plate behind the hook.

The lights are Hella Micro FF driving lights.

The brush guard is an Aries model 1051. I got it for $100 from a guy who decided not to use it, but I think they are about $300 - $350 new.

Thanks! Yeah, it is partly that I want to Keep It Simple, and partly that all the cool bumpers, etc. are REALLY expensive. Probably over time though. At least the rear, as my tire carrier is not doing too good.
