Ok so I have a black 2010 Mountain Edition.....F'in love those satin carbon wheels and trim. The upholstery is great looking too. I have the decals on the hood which I can do without. I'm thinking of taking it into a paint shop and having the hood painted flat black.

I was wondering if anyone had experience in this area and can recomend some do's and dont's. Paint type? satin or flat? paint brand? Where to get it done? Maybe I should buy a scrap hood and paint it and keep the original in storage?

Ideas/suggestions welcome

I thought about painting all the car black matte but it is really expensive. maybe you can wrap it in those stores that put some ads on the cars.
