Default PIAA nighttime auxiliary light comparison

So I now have PIAA 540s on my bumper, 520 ATPs on the brush guard and 580s on the windshield. Wanted to give everyone some night time pics so they can see what it looks like from a driver’s perspective. Obviously the pictures do not do it as much justice as seeing it in person but at least might help some people decide on different lights.

Here are a few more. Next I think I will replace the headlamp lense for better cutoff and change to higher output bulb that matches the white color of the PIAAs.

Looks great! I'd like to see a picture of just headlights and the 580. I'll probably do that first, since I just have a stock bumper.

Once again don't let the pictures fool you, the 580s are really stinkin bright. The one thing to consider is that I put pencil beam lenses in mine because I wanted direct focus light. If you get the 580 driving, then you will have more spread.

BTW - I have two brand new 580 driving lenses for sale $100 for both

Pencil beam is a great choice for the windshield mount...less reflected into your face off of the hood. It really looks great.

Yep...

The PIAA lights are made up off a lens, and housing which includes the harness for the bulb. Some of PIAAs like the 5** series I have, include guards for the lenses. You will see similar designs with KC slims, WARN and others. In my opinion it is the only way to go with the new JKs.

Daylighters are great I used to have them on my 83 bronco, but I think they would just look way too old school on a new Jeep. Unless of course you were going for that look. But then you would have to do tubular chrome bumpers and nerf bars
