The perfect regular guy upgrade
So I just added a 2" skyjacker spacer lift which I got for $200 off Craigslist brand new. The wheel are Classic iis which I got for $300 on Craigslist. I bought the tires at discount tire and got $50 off because I was part of this forum and my Local shop put everything on for $500. They even installed my $40 used hitch. They even bought my old tires and rims. Good guys to use on Staten Island if anybody needs work done.
I personally think the 33.5 inch tires look great. I think you guys with 35s really need to rethink all the issues that come with 35s. The Jeep rides great, looks great and I don't need to regear or buy chips or anything. If you don't want radical but you want a good looking truck go with 295/70/17s

I have 35's on a 2.5" BB lift and I only have one problem, I should have gone right to 37's. Personally I think the issues come when going 37 inch tires and larger. bigger tires, bigger lift, driveshaft issues, regear, beef up axles.
Your ride does look good and you saved a ton of money, something my wife wishes I was better at!!

welcome, they do look nice ...BUT... your speedo is off, and I don't mean the bathing suit. it doesn't matter if you have 33.5's or 35's, the tire is bigger than stock (which is what ur calibrated to) and you need at least a procal to adjust it. it's not off by much, but it's off, just an FYI. And you have to consider the 2012's with 3.73's or 4.10's can run 35's with your lift, so gas is the only thing your saving with 33.5's from my perspective. but i agree that your Jeep looks great, and being from Jersey I know there's no need for 35's in staten island anyway. cheers
