Painted top white
Spent the summer driving around with the top of my head burning. Here in Tucson the black hardtop holds so much heat that the AC can barely keep up. I need to aim all the vents up at the top to try and cool the headroom.
So I painted the top stone white. I dont care if it looks like a hummer.
Drove home from the painters this morning @95F and it didnt feel hot. We will see how it does this afternoon.

Okay, now let's hear the details about how they did it... Sand the top? Primer? How many coats? Warranty on the paint not flaking off? Etc, Etc.. Oh yeah, cost?
I think these questions would help out quite a few people.. I myself have considered getting the mine painted silver..
Thanks in advance!
LOL, looks awesome!
