Hinges look great, been thinking about doing that myself I think you just made my mind up.

U dont have to mask anything off to do the muffler. Prep is the key. I did it similar to the OP, I had a wire brush on a drill and then sprayed it with simple green and rinsed and let it dry. Then several light coats. Been about 2000 miles now and no bubbles or cracks.

Didn't mask anything off actually. And prolly like 2 hours with prep and waiting for the coats to dry. I put three coats on by the way.
