Default Painted Bushwacker Flat Fenders

Hi guys,

Can the Bushwacker flatties be painted?

If yes, does anybody have pictures of them?

Also, is it a simple process? Or does it have to be painted by a body shop?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
G

ps, I did use the search feature of the forum, but was not able to find anything. Thanks

Here is a pic of them painted.... I wanna paint mine to match too but I'm still on the fence about it... I'm sure we can do it ourselves but I think body shop is best

They can be painted and look pretty good that way. I got estimates a couple of yrs ago it was going to cost $700 because the prep work needed. Sorry I never went forward with them so no pics but I'm sure you'll get some people who have them to chime in and post up a pic.

Yes they can be painted. The prep work to smooth them out for paint is what is expensive. You may be able to sand them smooth to save some dollars at the body shop. There are some adhesion promoters that you can use to paint them textured too. Check with your local body shop for these.
