I think that hoodscoop is good for 15hp, maybe 20 if you put the flag up.

My kids thought it was awesome..."dad, the steering wheel is even on the wrong side!"

my first Jeep was a DJ-5 like that one. They could be purchased at the Post office headquarters for $1000 painted in a choice of basic colors. It was a fantastic vehicle for a high school junior.
Seeing that picture really brings back some great memories.
