One Month, 1000 Miles - Some Thoughts and Pics
Have the Jeep for about a month. I just crossed the 1000 Mile mark today. I documented it by taking a pic and thought may be I should post some updated pics of my rig. I am going in for Shoulder Surgery tomorrow (Rotator Cuff) and I will not be able to do any mods for about 3 months or may be more. It's going to be hard to stay away from doing mods but I have to get my shoulder fixed. Thanks to all the information I got from this forum which has helped me with my mods.
My rig is completely debadged. Well, almost completely. All my mods so far have been cosmetic in nature. The ones that I will plan for next year are Lights, Lift and Bumpers.
As of now, the mods I have done so far are:
1. Tires/Wheels
2. Fuel Filler Door
3. Debadged/Destickered
4. Shorty Antenna
5. Mesh Grill Insert (Home Depot DYI)
6. Tuffy Security Products (Hood, Glove Box, Console, Cubby Cover, Under Seat Drawer)
7. Clear Turn Signals and Clear Markers
8. Corner Marker Mod (Blink with the Turn Signals)
9. Door Sill Guards
Was planning to do the skids but haven't yet received them. I guess I will have to do them after my shoulder has recovered.
Anyways, I love this Jeep and it is just so friggin awesome. In the last month I have had it, that's the only thing I have driven. I still own my other car which is a 05 BMW 330I and I haven't found the need or desire to drive that car which speaks a lot for me since I have always owned sports sedans but I can't tell you how much I love driving my Jeep.
Another great thing is spending the time on the Jeep doing the mods. Gives you a sense of ownership that it's special and it's the only one of it's kind.
Enough talk, here are some pics.
