Offroad evolution rock rails and guards!
Today I got my OFFROAD EVOLUTION ROCK RAILS AND GUARDS installed
First impression of the rails: Strong, very strong, simple and straight foward. The powder coating is top notch. They are also lighter than my previous RR.
The install of the rock rails was a little tricky at first since I have the Teraflex long arms and the locations of the rear lower control arm bracket was in the way. Just had to cut the welding plate down to size on that end and it fit like a glove. After the experience of one side is, the other becomes a piece of cake. Just have to take your time to make sure that the rail is lined up properly before doing the final welding. And thats it.
The rock guards
First impression: Bitchin, solid, fits like a glove, workmanship is impecable, really finishes off the look of the rock rails. Can barely notice the pinch seam.
The install is straight foward. Just make sure you spot the holes correctly and take your time. The rivet nuts can take some time to install if you don't have the right tool. Forgive me, but I don't know the name of the tool in english, but for those who are familiar with rivet nuts should know what I'm talking about.
Mel and Andrew at ORE were very helpful in giving me ideas on how to get this install as easy as possible and I shouldn't have underestimated my mechs since by the time I got off the phone with Mel they already knew what they had to do to get the install right. I forgot to mention that the instructions were lost through a gapping hole in the box thanks to the shipping guys. In the end they weren't even needed.
So here are the pics:

Looks Great
Your install shop does nice work looks great. Nice talking with you today.
David from Currie stopped by today and we test fitted a set of Hutchinson Rims we had here on the Rock Jocks and they fit fine Looks like your axle and rim selection will be a good combo.
