I am wanting to join the 15" club. I have tried reading everything on this thread. But, I keep seeing certain items go back and forth. So, here is the setup that I am looking at going with:
RC 2.5" lift with springs and shocks
33x12.5x15 tire of my choice
15x8 or 15x10 wheel with 3.75" backspace?
That is my question. I am looking for a setup that wont rub or require shaving the caliper. So, will 15s8 with 3.75 bs do the trick? What about a 15x10 wheel?
Just looking for some definition and confirmation.
Thanks,
Nathan

Spacers are a bandaid IMO. If you're buying new wheels for Pete's sale don't run spacers, get a new wheel that works and fits properly. I ordered one wheel & put it on before ordering the other 4. I'm running 15 inch Ions 4.24" of BS with no spacers, no rubbing, no problems.

my wheels are 15x8 cragar soft 8's with 4" of back space.
I was told by rock krawler that their tie rod wont fit cause the rod ends are to big? Anyone know if this is true? if so what about synergy suspensions tie rod kit?
I hate to replace the worn out stock tie rod with more factory crap, but can't afford to sell the 15" wheels and tires to buy 35" tires on 16" wheels.
