Brand new - tires just installed today. 15x8 Ion Alloy 171's (3.5" backspacing) with 33x12.5x15 Goodyear Duratracs with a 2.5" Teraflex coil lift that we installed this summer.

Here's a picture of the clearance between the front caliper and the inside of the 15" wheel. I'm posting this because I wished somebody else had done it when I was considering 15" wheels. I did not have to grind the calipers. I understand that some Rubicons may need to grind but I have no documentation of this.

Very happy with this setup. Other stats that I found out while researching this combination that might help others:

- Stock rim is 28 lbs, Ion Alloy 171 is 19.5 lbs.
- former tire was 275/65R18 - 50 lbs, 33x12.5x15 is 49 lbs.

Just got these on yesterday.

15x8 Ions wrapped in Cooper STT's. 4.25 BS. No rub on wheel but had to single stack tape weights on RR corner.

This is exactly what I plan on doing. Right now I have 33s on 16s. When they wear out I want 35/37s on 15s. Any rubbing problems? Do you run spacers??

There aren't too many people that still produce 37s for a 15 inch rim from what I found. Unless you wanna run SS irocks your only going up to 35s. Someone correct me if I'm misinformed ...I'd like 37s someday :P
