NV241 OR rubi transfer case or a atlas?

JB Conversions lists the 241OR for $2,150.
The 2 speed atlas is about the same price. The 4 speed atlas is around $3k.
Also with the Atlas you have to buy shifters for another few hundred.
I have an Atlas on my YJ and it is stout. Nice to be able to power the front or rear in situations where you need to pivot.
I'm waiting for AA's reduction box that replaces the tailhousing on the Auto tranny for my gearing upgrade or downgrade depending on your point of view.

If this doubles to your stock X/Sahara T-case, you would get low ranges of 2.72 and 7.39; right? If so, wouldn't the super low gear gearing (7.39) be too low; practically overkill for any application?

from the experience i have seen in rock crawling, around a 100:1 is ideal. i have about a 3o(something) to one now. when i go to 5.13 i ll have 62:1 then when i get the 4.3:1 atlas i ll have 98:1. a husband and wife that i go wheelin with both have there tj's set up to run very hardcore trails. the are always running in competetions and as a matter of fact he rolled his over on the comp course at rausch creek during jk fest. he runs 90:1 in his and his wife has 110:1. the both are amasing to see on the trail. he just goes, never seen either one of them stall and he can ride the break as hard as he can and it will not stall the jeep!

After playing in the rocks a little bit this weekend I want to get a rubi transfer case as well.
The 35's on the "X" with 4.10 gears and a 6 spd are a stall fest, just down right embarassing. I felt like I was learning to drive a stick again. I'm going to search the junkyards and switch my 2.73:1 to a 4:1
