Now it looks like a jeep.... lots of pics
After a long weekend of mods upgrades and small fixes, I finaly took some pics of my jeep. I didn't have my camera when i took to the trails but here are some before shots... still nice and shiney!
Here is a before shot..
And after!!
3.5" RE lift
35" x 12.5" Dick Cepek mud country
My Garmin 7200 - so nice to have
This is the view from my driving position. The rear view mirror is fully visable.
I got a shorter arm for my mount so it sits closer to the windshield. This is a big improvment from the arm that came with my RAM mount.
because the top pannel is a weak plastic, the weight of the screen would cause it to sag - blocking the rearview mirror. I fixed this with a zip cord tied to the clamp loop. It holds it up nice and high now.
I managed to not cut any of the wires from my garmin for power and video. I used an female female extender for the video.
Then used two wires... like shown on some other great posts on this forum, and attached to the back of the stereo.

The power I took from the left power outlet
and grounded it behind the glove box
I got the red and black seatglovers. I love most things about them. there are some quality issues i dont like, and some seams were ripped when i recieved them. I need to fix them soon before they get worse.
You can also see the cargo netting everywhere - really happy with these.
Everyone has had issues with the flaps for side airbags. I sewed some velcro to keep it shut. It works well.
The side pannel was the only netting that needed a little extra work to attach.
I cut threw the carpet and mounted a bracket under and out of sight.

I think the morpar slush mats are a must for everyone.
6" KC slim 130W lights. on the KC brackets.
I have the switch on the left side of the dash like many people.
On of the best things i have done is attaching the antena to the lights. It stopped a really back wobble that was happening at high speeds.
This was my choice for where to mount the lighting stuff. nice and close to the battery
And how could i not include my mirror mod. I put two holes in mine.. The one pointing straight down empties most of the water really fast - falls outside the jeep so no marks on the door. The second gets whatever water is left in the bottom of the mirror. Makes it so easy when washing / drying.
And some random...
